Job Description
Based in our KL office, the Senior manager, Regional Ops Strategy will be reporting to Head of Ops Strategy of Seek Asia and will:
- Work with markets to conceptualize, strategize, and implement initiatives to drive business outcomes within focused segment(s). Lead progress of initiatives, working closely with various functions to drive execution in the areas of (but not limited to):
- sales operations optimisation
- pricing levers
- product value improvements / new products / services
- digital experience / platform / optimisation
- sales channel optimisation / innovation
- marketing strategies / campaigns
Key Responsibilities
- Work with analyst(s) to build the required datasets / analytics / reports to facilitate decision making and support collaborators on root cause analysis, prioritization, forecasting and performance tracking
- Remain up to date with online business models and trends, technological innovations and competitive threats; share insights with team and champion fast and practical responses in SEEK Asia
- Support the COO office in driving timely reviews of deliverables, collaborator engagement, project documentation and effective communication of actionable insights to partners across all levels
Qualifications
Skills, Experience and Competencies
- 5 years of validated experience with a track record in driving transformative business growth, ideally in a digital business or with consulting background
- Passion for digital marketplaces and products – has experience in, familiarity with and interest in online business and digital technology
- Commercial acumen and sound decision-making – able to quickly form hypotheses and articulate convincing, insight-based, customer-centric story
- Innovator – continuously conceives creative solutions and experiments to improve the status quo, is curious, continue to adapt and grow PASSION for delivering impactful results and for asking ‘why?’
- Strategic thinking – always has in mind the “big picture” and can formulate strategies to be successful in the near and long term with the right amount of thinking upfront
- Problem solving and insights – is able to frame and structure issues, ensure high quality analysis and translate output into practical execution plan with clear prioritization, encourage pace and progress over finesse
- Analytical and results oriented - structured problem solver who places emphasis on data-driven decision-making; comfortable in working with large volumes of data
- Customer-centric approach – always strives to meet customer needs, hard-working in understanding customer behaviour, satisfaction and loyalty
- Communication and presence – projects excellent verbal/ written communications; displays strong presence and can influence others’ perspective Track record of working with others to “get things done”
- Ownership/ Accountability and Drive – delivering outcome with cross-functional and cross-product teams
- Ability to establish relationships and influence senior collaborators from a diversified culture without authority
- Collaborative, a good sense of humility and empathetic working style
- A deep dedication to inclusive and empowering work practices

The candidate will need to be proficient with the following tools & technologies:
- Microsoft Power Point (advanced level)
- Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Tableau as Viewer
