The Senior Operations Manager coordinates projects, systems, and workflows, ensuring efficiency and alignment in marketing and content operations at Rush Street Interactive. Responsibilities include documentation management, content distribution, ad trafficking, and AI integration for improved processes.
Summary Generated by Built In

Rush Street Interactive (NYSE: RSI) is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, currently operating real-money gaming with our brands: BetRivers.com, PlaySugarHouse.com, and RushBet.co. We’re building bridges between online, social and land-based gaming businesses to create amazing, integrated experiences that keep players in the game.

We’re seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead that backbone — ensuring efficiency, alignment, and innovation across all RSI content and marketing operations. This person will coordinate documentation, reporting, data management, and technology workflows that enable our team to deliver world-class gaming content across every channel.

The Senior Operations Manager is a cross-functional leader responsible for coordinating projects, systems, and workflows between RSI’s production teams and marketing and data teams. You’ll manage the department’s operational infrastructure — including content distribution, information repositories, ad trafficking systems, and reporting pipelines.

This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring RSI’s creative and technical teams operate with precision, transparency, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is both analytical and process-driven, with the ability to translate data and documentation into actionable insights.

What You'll Do

Operational Coordination

  • Serve as the central liaison between internal departments — including content production, marketing, CRM, and analytics — to ensure smooth information flow and project execution.
  • Manage operational documentation, processes, and workflows within Confluence, maintaining clear visibility across projects and initiatives.
  • Support project planning and prioritization, tracking deliverables and dependencies through agile tools and reporting frameworks.

Content & Data Management

  • Oversee content distribution pipelines, including OTT, broadcast, and digital asset delivery.
  • Manage video archive systems, metadata tagging, and content retrieval processes.
  • Maintain and optimize information repositories to ensure knowledge continuity and accessibility across departments.
  • Support the collection, organization, and analysis of data for cross-functional use and reporting.

Advertising & Technical Operations

  • Manage ad trafficking and campaign execution across OTT, broadcast TV, digital video, and audio platforms.
  • Oversee ad tech systems and vendor integrations to ensure compliance and delivery accuracy.

Innovation & AI Integration

  • Research and test AI tools to enhance content operations, project management, and data reporting efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring operational processes using AI-assisted workflows.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to improve information and content management systems.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, related degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in operations, project management, or business systems management within media, entertainment, or digital organizations.
  • Strong understanding of data management, content workflows, and cross-department coordination.
  • Proven experience managing documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, Notion, or SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with ad tech systems, OTT distribution, and digital trafficking.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, forecasting, and operations documentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills across creative and technical teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience in gaming, iGaming, or sports entertainment industries.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Jira) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Working understanding of AI applications in operations or workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with video production environments and asset management systems (Avid, Frame.io, etc.).
