About the role: 

We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members - who keep our business running, our vans delivering, our customers' products picked and packed and our proprietary technology operating at optimum levels. Both behind the scenes within the warehouses and across the front end of the customer experience, which means we now have an opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager to join the team.

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) activity and delivery operations within a highly automated, progressive 24/7 environment.

 Reporting to the General Manager, you will inspire a tiered management team, driving accountability to achieve key performance metrics, drive continuous improvement, and uphold rigorous health and safety compliance while consistently delivering outstanding service to our clients and customers.

You will be:

• Using your leadership expertise to inspire, mentor, and empower a team of Operations Managers to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Driving operational excellence and accountability as a Senior Operations Manager across our 5-pillar framework, optimizing resources, rosters, and budgets to meet volume expectations.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives and developing robust business cases to enhance productivity, process safety, and quality standards.
• Overseeing site compliance, ensuring facilities, fleet assets, and operations strictly adhere to safety and legislative standards.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Planning, HR, Recruitment and Operational and Project support teams to maintain seamless operational flow and service delivery.

About you: To be successful as our Senior Operations Manager, you will bring:

• Proven experience leading in a senior management position within a large-scale operations, or fulfillment environment.
• An IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or equivalent) with a strong, active commitment to health and safety compliance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills alongside strong numerical capability and PC literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational budgets, strategic resource planning, and variance analysis.
• A passion for people management, coaching, and creating a safe, collaborative, and aspirational workplace.
