Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Operations Manager to join our Engineered Systems Business team, which supports federal markets including infrastructure solutions, security and mission solutions, aviation, threat reduction and remediation. This role reports to the VP of Operation for ES. This role will assist in setting the conditions for the businesses success by partnering in the development and implementation of sound operational business and program practices, developing processes and employing modern told (e.g. AI/ML).
What You'll Be Doing:
- Partnering with corporate program leadership to develop and implement program leadership policies, processes, tools and trainings, including the potential development and deployment of a program leadership certification program
- Explore AI/ML and other modern technologies and tools for applications to problem sets
- This role will include other duties assigned and as required to support the overall health of business operations, including the development of senior level presentation materials
- Work ‘hands on’ with sector and program leaders to improve low performing programs and to capitalize on high performing program practices.
- Partner across the entire company to glean best practices and applications for ES.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Knowledge of the ES business to enable the identification of risks and opportunities across the business.
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, and 10 years of related work experience, including some experience with businesses >$1B in revenue per year.
- A background in federal contracting.
- Organizational and management practices as applied to the analysis, evaluation, development, and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures.
- Modern office practices, methods, and computer equipment and applications related to the work.
- English usage, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and punctuation.
- Ability to travel occasional domestically and internationally to work with mission partners.
- Ability to influence across an organization and multiple profit and loss and functional positions
