Role Overview
The Senior Operations Analyst will be a key member of the distribution operations team by delivering necessary analytics to support the network in making data driven decisions, as well as supporting daily operations for the distribution network. The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to; reporting and KPI development and tracking, process development and compliance, operational support for warehouse systems, supporting strategic initiatives, budget development, support daily operations, and will be the main point of contact between 3pls and the business teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in distribution operations, logistics, reporting and analytics, the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, and to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Track, develop, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across both owned DC’s and 3pl partners
- Operational planning between business teams, DC’s, and 3pl partners
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
- Process development and compliance
- Manage relationships with 3PL partners, including supporting contract negotiations, compliance, deployment of strategic initiatives, and day-to-day operations
- Support vendor RFP process and vendor management
- Sourcing and presenting analytics to support decision making and “what if” scenarios
- Operational support for warehouse systems and equipment, for example, WMS and automation systems
- Support strategic initiatives
- Support annual budget process
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution operations, logistics, and operations
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Experience with 3PL operations and logistics management, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with WMS systems
- Ability to consolidate data points and business requirements into a coherent message and strategy
This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.
PAY RATE: $100,000/yr-$130,000/yr
