About the team and the role:

You will be joining the eBay Global Facility Operations Team as a Senior Operations Analyst, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Authentication Operations! In this role, you will develop mining and reporting mechanisms & strategies that will provide the operational data vital to make decisions at all levels of the Authentication Operations organization.  You will need to collaborate with site leaders, directors, business partners and other senior leaders to gain a detailed understanding of all business synergies in order to provide the best recommendations for process optimization. At times, you will also assist the leaders of the Global Operational Excellence team by leading small process improvement initiatives and projects. 

What you will accomplish: 

• Develop mechanisms for extracting operational data from existing business systems and data warehouses.

• Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. 

• Generate and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.  

• Develop short and long term forecasting and capacity planning models. 

• Develop and implement operational reporting mechanisms to deliver data and results to all levels of the organization.  

• Assist the senior leadership team with problem solving operational issues and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

• Lead small projects and initiatives to implement process improvements or new technologies.  

What you will bring: 

• 8-10 years of proven experience with analytics & data mining

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.

• Strong analytical expertise & experience in operations data planning within operations, manufacturing or logistics, or other equivalent field. 

• Proficiency in data analysis tools, software, and techniques.

• Experience in continuous improvement project leadership and execution.

• Ability to work independently and influence leaders at all levels of the organization.

• Excellent decision-making skills with a keen ability for identifying, prioritizing, and articulating the highest impact initiatives.

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including internationally.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
