Role Description
- The Portfolio Onboarding & Lifecycle Management (POLM) function is part of DWS Infrastructure Operations and is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely operational setup of new funds and mandates.
- The team also manages lifecycle events including asset transfers, mergers, splits, custodian changes, and terminations.

Your key responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement operational setup of new DWS funds and mandates.
- Manage custody set-up incl. trade routings, account openings and safekeeping locations.
- Execute ad-hoc or planned lifecycle events including asset transfers, mergers, splits, custodian changes, and liquidations.
- Maintain process documentation including procedures, flow charts, and checklists.
- Partner with internal (Product, Investment and Client Division, etc.) and external stakeholders (Custodians, Fund Admins, Middle Office Providers, etc.).
- Participate in operational and strategic projects.
Your skills and experience
- University degree in economics or related field.
- Experience in onboarding, custodian setup, securities settlement, reconciliation, or fund accounting.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- High initiative and confident decision‑making.
- Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong team collaboration and communication.
- High process discipline and attention to detail.
- This role provides exposure to global fund launch and lifecycle management and offers strong opportunities for growth within DWS Operations.
