Job Description

IT Operations Managers apply deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Linux, Windows server administration, networking, and databases to mahandleey applications and services running on virtualized and non-virtualized platforms.
 

The integration Operations Manager is a part of the Global Integration team supporting Critical Integration platforms including SAP PO SAP IS and others. We are looking for an IT professional to join the P&G EAI platform operations & product team. EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) team provides integration middleware platforms supporting most of P&G application  with a diverse set of solutions and technologies. This is a hands-on technical operation role, candidates will need to be technology experts in SAP Integration  and proficient at running platform operations/engineering  for SAP integration.

Your first main responsibility is to ensure smooth technical platform operations for SAP Integration Suite including SAP BTP and SAP IS integration Cell hosted on Azure/Kubernetes.  Key aspects of ITIL, SRE and DevOPS will be in scope.

We are looking for an IT professional to join the P&G EAI platform operations & product team. EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) provides integration middleware platforms supporting most of P&G’s CBPs with a diverse set of solutions and technologies in a multi-vendor environment. As Service Operations Manager, you lead and continuously improve end-to-end service delivery including strategic vendor management and governance. You ensure operational excellence, are accountable for all aspects of service delivery including overall quality of service, service transition, service operations and service level management, controls, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP Operations Engineering at as part of Global Integration core team
  • Deliver SAP Integration operations process together with suppliers (ITIL processes, especially incident, request, problem, change management; supplier governance, financial management, controls & compliance).
  • Engage in Global SAP Integration projects including migrations and new implementations
  • Assume P&G owner role for platform changes, IAM tasks, and recurring activities such as DR drills
  • Operations and Engineering for SAP integration Suite including– API, orchestration, messaging, B2B. 
  • Lead technical operations execution of integration projects. 
  • Ensure operation excellence of EAI integration middleware platform, working with different organizations in a multi-vendor setup and in a globally distributed environment
  • Review supplier performance against SLAs and contractual commitments, drive continuous improvements
  • Support escalation management, coordination with different internal and external parties, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions and improvements after critical incidents
  • Drive adoption of SRE concepts such as automation, monitoring/observability, eliminating toil
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver Integration Solutions at Enterprise Scale 

Job Qualifications

Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science/Information Systems, Masters  Preferred
  • SAP Certification for SAP PO/Integration Suite
  • Cloud Certification Azure
     

Core Expertise

  • 7+ years Enterprise Integration experience in large Enterprises
  • Minimum 4 years of SAP Integration experience including Process Orchestration and/or Integration Suite 
    • XI Proxy and IDOC 
    • B2B Addon for EDI including Trading partner management 
    • Netweaver Gateway with OData services and S/4HANA APIs 
    • BTP and Cloud Connector 
       
  • Kubernetes engineering – AKS
  • Experience must also  include expertise in 2+ areas below:
    • Enterprise Integration Platforms like TIBCO, Cloud IPaaS – BOOMI, MuleSoft,
    • External Connectivity EDI-B2B communication
    • Cloud native integration in Azure, Google Cloud, AWS
    • Messaging Platforms –JMS, AMQP
    • API Management – APIGEE or similar
    • DevOPS  including Github, Jenkins , Terraform or similar
       
  • Stewardship – good understanding of IT incl. Information Security, and financial policies. As the P&G owner, this role is also about being the right steward of company assets, and to ensure all requirements are implemented and exercised properly by us and partners.
  • Ability to work in a multi cloud hosting environment – Azure, AWS
  • Basic to Proficient ITIL knowledge (ITIL 3 or 4 Foundation Certification as minimum). Certified in one or more of the following (in addition to ITIL): SRE Foundation, DevOps Foundation.
  • Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science/Information Systems, Masters  Preferred
  • SAP Certification for SAP PO/Integration Suite
  • Cloud Certification Azure

Other Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of networking technologies (LAN/WAN), OSI Layers.
  • Security – SSL/TLS, OAuth,SAML, LDAP Active Directory, RBAC.    

Communication/Teamwork

  • Proficiency in English,
  • Ability to work and  collaborate across Global Teams
