Job Description
We are looking for an Offshore Wind Operations & Maintenance Engineer to assist in executing our O&M strategy. This role requires a solid engineering background and substantial experience in offshore wind operations, along with strong communication skills. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Supporting in the development and execution of the O&M strategy as a member of the project team, functionally reporting to the O&M Package Manager
- Contributing into the OPEX modelling process, ensuring assumptions and yield profiles are robust using input from necessary project stakeholders and suppliers
- Providing input, reviewing, and commenting on the designs of foundations, substations, asset and operational management systems to ensure suitability from an O&M perspective
- Supporting the Project HSE Manager in the development of the Site Safety Management Plan and strive to deliver HSE best practice in all aspects of operational planning
- Supporting preparation for Construction handover and operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Degree in related engineering field (electrical, civil, mechanical, geotechnical, oceanography, etc.)
- 5+ years of leadership experience in foundation projects, preferably in an offshore environment
- Ability to build relationships, trust, and respect within teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of O&M activities for offshore wind, including the development phase
- Understanding of commercial contract management techniques and procurement processes
- Well-rounded project management capabilities, ideally with formal training and certification.
