Senior Node.js Developer

Software Requirements:

• Node.js and related technologies
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB)
• RESTful API design

Overall Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the development and implementation of Node.js-based applications and solutions.
• Lead a team of developers and collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in Node.js and related technologies.
• Identify and address technical and project risks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Technical Skills:

Category-wise:

Node.js Development:

• Extensive experience in Node.js and its related technologies.

Web Technologies:

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Databases:

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and CouchDB.

Development Methodologies:

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

API Design:

• Good understanding of RESTful API design.

Problem-Solving:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams of developers.
• Experience working on large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Leading and mentoring a team of developers.
• Overseeing the development and implementation of Node.js-based applications and solutions.
• Communicating with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies.
• Identifying and addressing technical and project risks.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in Node.js is a plus.
