Senior Network Engineer

Designs, creates, and operates the company's internal data communications systems and infrastructure. Plans, designs and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and develops new solutions and tooling using standard and advanced technologies. Ensures deployed networks and infrastructure are flexible and support quick 'on demand' access. Supports / troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of such items as routers and switches. Works on or leads network-related project implementation. Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for enterprise Routing & Switching and Wireless networks.
• Support and troubleshoot Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers in production environments.
• Operate and manage SD‑WAN (Cisco Viptela) networks.
• Support Cisco ISE for network access control and authentication-related issues.
• Utilize Cisco DNA Centre (DNAC) for monitoring, assurance, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and support service restoration within SLA.
• Collaborate with Security, Cloud, and Application teams during incidents and changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and CMDB records.
• Support continuous improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in network operations.
• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching and Wireless networking.
• Experience supporting Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers.
• SD‑WAN (Cisco Viptela) experience is required.
• Exposure to Cisco ISE and Cisco DNAC.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end network troubleshooting (L3–L7).
• Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

• Willingness to work in a 24x7 operations or on‑call environment, as required.

  
  

  Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with VXLAN / EVPN based network architectures.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure networking.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for automation.
• Experience working in large, global, or hybrid network environments.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, SD‑WAN, F5, Firewall certifications).

• Experience with network monitoring tools is preferred, with SolarWinds being a strong advantage.
