We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The goal of a Senior Network Engineer at Wisk is to operate, and enhance a distributed, global, mission‑critical enterprise network. You will be part of the Infrastructure team within the Information technology group. This role involves fieldwork, including site surveys, installations, hardware deployment, audits, and on-site troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in TCP/IP networking, dynamic routing protocols, remote VPN, DataCenter Network Technologies, load balancer technology, and Enterprise Wi-Fi.
This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days.
What you will do:
As part of the Information technology organization, and deployed within the Infrastructure team you will Perform on-site field work at remote offices, site surveys, labs, and data centers across multiple regions.
You will lead deployment and lifecycle management of Juniper routing and switching platforms.
You will install, configure, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN.
You will take part in supporting DIA circuit installation, validation, and troubleshooting.
You will take part in implementing and maintain BGP-enabled peering, routing policies, and ISP relationships.
You will plan and execute the deployment and optimization Mist Wi-Fi access points, including RF tuning and performance analysis.
You will also work with other Engineering & business Support team to address application needs that require enterprise load balancers using F5 BIG-IP load balancers and maintain traffic policies.
As senior Network Engineer you will help conduct site assessments focused on physical security, cabling, and network performance.
You will create network documentation and installation guides.
You will take part in supporting incident response and problem resolution both remotely and on-site
Requirements
5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, and VRRP.
Working experience of data center cabling infrastructure and optical transceivers.
Hands-on experience with the following products: Juniper, PaloAlto, Fortinet, F5 and Mist.
Deep understanding of next-generation firewall technologies and Remote VPN.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN based WAN technologies.
Experience with F5 load balancing solutions.
Experience with Mist Wi-Fi deployments at multiple locations.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Up to 5% field work, including travel across the US, Canada, and Europe.
Ability to perform equipment installation, cabling, and hardware validation.
Ability to work in lab, office, and industrial environments.

Pay range the company expects to pay: $157,000 - $184,000 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
