Job Description
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, optimize, and maintain ultra-low latency trading and data center networks. You will lead network deployments, troubleshoot complex issues in Linux environments, and drive automation initiatives in a high-performance infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage high-availability, low-latency network infrastructure
- Optimize routing (OSPF, BGP, Multicast) and Layer 1-3 performance
- Lead network migrations and troubleshooting (TCP stack, traffic analysis)
- Implement network automation and monitoring solutions
- Collaborate on advanced projects involving PTP and co-location networks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of network engineering experience
- Strong expertise in OSPF, BGP, Multicast, VRRP, STP
- Experience with data center architecture, underlay/overlay networks
- Proficient with Linux networking and major network equipment
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required due to regular collaboration with Mandarin-speaking team members based in China.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or INT
- Background in finance or internet companies with large BGP networks
- CCIE or HCIE certification
