The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a strategic High-Performance Computing (HPC) program. The Senior Network Engineer will need to be a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment, and the ability to work within a team to mature the HPC capabilities of our customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
Installation, configuration, and support of:
Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP OpenView, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, InfiniBand, Juniper, Fiber Channel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols
Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite
Able to support on-call requirements.
Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.
Basic Qualifications:
Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Candidates shall have at least twelve (12) years of experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection with a bachelor’s degree, or ten (10) years of experience with a master’s degree.
Candidate must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
IAT Level 2 Certification is required.

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
