We recently announced plans to expand in Spain by building a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Moncada, Valencia. When it becomes operational in 2026, the plant will manufacture Edwards' surgical and transcatheter heart valve replacement technologies and will join a global network of more than 16,000 talented team members and five other production plants. Our new facility in Moncada will welcome up to 1,500 dedicated team members by 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, and several other professional career paths. Hiring for professional positions has started and will continue through the winter and early spring, with specialized training for manufacturing hires beginning in the fall of 2025.
How you will make an Impact:

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

  • Configure and install switches, routers, firewalls and other network devices

  • Monitor network performance and integrity

  • Ticketing support for end-user troubleshooting

  • Cross-department collaboration

  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

  • Mentor team members on technical issues

  • Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

  • Communicate with users when needed

  • Maintain complete technical documentation

  • Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability

What you will need (Required)

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

  • 8+ years' experience in Network Engineering.

What else we look for (Preferred)

  • Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator

  • Aruba, Palo Alto, Cisco shop

  • Professional certification (e.g. ACSA, ACSP, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, PCNSE)

  • Solid background in network administration and architecture

  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

  • Familiarity with access control models and network security

  • Preferred knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)

  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)

  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (Aruba, Cisco IOS)

  • Sharp troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Organizational and mentoring skills
