Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Network Uptime: Ensuring high network availability and reliability, with a focus on achieving and maintaining 99.9% uptime
2. Incident Response: Promptly diagnosing and resolving network issues to minimize downtime and maintain a high level of network performance
3. Change Management: Efficiently managing and implementing network changes while adhering to best practices and minimizing disruptions
4. Network Security: Monitoring and enhancing network security measures to safeguard our data and infrastructure
5. Network Performance Optimization: Continuously improving network performance by analyzing latency, bandwidth utilization, and packet loss
6. Capacity Planning: Forecasting network capacity requirements and planning upgrades as needed to support our growing organization
7. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations and network diagrams
8. Vendor Management: Managing relationships with network equipment vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely equipment delivery
9. Cost Management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining or enhancing network quality
10. Technical Skills Development: Encouraging and participating in continuous learning and professional development for the network team
11. CCTV Integration: Leveraging knowledge of CCTV systems to integrate them seamlessly with our network infrastructure

Desired Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer with a strong track record of achieving and maintaining network uptime
• In-depth knowledge and experience with multiple network device brands (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Meraki, Mikrotik) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and their integration into network environments
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills for successful project delivery
• Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools
• Experience with cloud networking and SD-WAN technologies is a plus
