We're now looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join us at the centre of this strategic transformation. You'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising the organisation's network infrastructure.
Job DescriptionHere is a taste of what you can expect in this role:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise in networking technologies and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure high availability, reliability and security of the network operating environment.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide escalated support.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend network enhancements.
- Deliver high-quality network services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Optimise network performance and scalability
- Document configurations and procedures.
- Transition technologies from delivery to operations.
Now let’s talk about you:
- 5+ years experience in network engineering roles
- Expertise across multiple networking technologies - Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper
- Experience and thorough understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes such as change management, incident management, configuration management.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols -TCP/IP, WiFI, WAN, LAN and Routing protocols
- Experience with network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
