Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. You will serve as a critical point of escalation for network incidents, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of our network infrastructure. This role demands a deep understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security, with a strong focus on proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Incident Management & Support:
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex network incidents.
- Monitor and respond to critical alerts from SolarWinds and other monitoring tools.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and collaborate with ISPs to resolve complex connectivity issues.
- Manage PRI lines and resolve related issues.
- Perform advanced switchport provisioning and configuration.
- Manage complex firewall translations and security policies.
- Administer and optimize DNS/DHCP services using Infoblox.
- Proactively monitor and analyze network performance using SolarWinds.
- Plan and execute upgrades and maintenance on switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
- Perform failover testing of firewalls of multiple sites.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
- Implement and enforce network security best practices.
- Manage and configure F5 LTM load balancers.
- Basic knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle Cloud networking.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Maintain a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of VOIP.

Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-6 years of progressive experience in network engineering.
- Expert-level experience with switches (Cisco, Meraki, Juniper).
- Expert-level experience with routers (Cisco, Juniper).
- Expert-level experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
- Extensive experience with Infoblox for DNS/DHCP management.
- Advanced proficiency in using SolarWinds for network monitoring.
- Experience with F5 LTM load balancing.
- Experience working with Cloud Networking (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud).
- Basic knowledge of VOIP.
- Experience with ISP Management.
- Experience with PRI Management.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
