Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with expertise in enterprise-grade firewalls and load balancers. The ideal candidate has direct experiences with designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure with a focus on security, performance, and reliability. The focus of the job is in designing solutions for monitoring and troubleshooting network infrastructure for enterprise customers.

Key Selection Criteria

•Understand good vs bad configurations of Checkpoint / Fortinet / PaloAlto / and Cisco firewalls.

•Understand load balancing solutions and how to monitor LB traffic for traceability. 

o Experience with Arista and/or F5 devices is a plus.

•Understand how to perform network troubleshooting and resolve complex connectivity issues

•Understand and have experience with conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

•Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network engineers

•Programming experience in Python is an advantage.

•Experience in site/network reliability is an advantage.

Key Contributions Expectations

•As part of a team, design, implement, and manage device monitoring solutions for enterprise infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.

•Configure and maintain Checkpoint / Fortinet / PaloAlto and Cisco firewalls in a lab environment.

•Implement and manage load balancing solutions to ensure application availability and performance in a lab environment.

•Create and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration procedures for lab environments.
