Leidos is seeking a qualified candidate to join our DISA JSP ETM team as the Senior Network Engineer. The successful candidate will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA. The Senior Network Engineer provides expert support to a Rapid Response Team responsible for quick responses and fixes for urgent issues, as identified.
Primary Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, and install network routers and switches

Design and architect routed and switched networks

Provide planning and technical support for network resources and connectivity.

Maintain fully functional mission support capabilities, to include all network devices, interfaces, and component parts.

Ensure baseline configuration of all network assets is documented and configured according to DoD and JSP engineering standards

Conduct urgent break-fixes and other requirements in response to incidents

Manage the network connectivity at all VIP/Government Officer (GO) locations and other priority locations within JSP scope of responsibility

Implement and manage network connectivity and transport across all classification levels.

Manage and perform the installation, maintenance, and removal of all equipment in accordance with JSP-approved standards and architecture drawings, to include encryption devices, VoIP devices, and VoSIP devices, and auxiliary power equipment (i.e., Uninterrupted Power Supply).

Manage and perform life-cycle maintenance for all transport devices and supporting equipment.
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant field and 12+ years of experience or a Masters degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.

Experience operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches

Experience designing, architecting routed and switched networks

Experience with the DoD environment

At least one nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects in the area of routers and switches

Must possess at least one certification that fulfills IAT Level III requirement. Must possess one of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP

TS/SCI clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
