Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to work in Quantico, VA. This position will be relocating to Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance and must be able to obtain a CI Poly successfully.

The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for leading moderately complex network projects or phases of a large project. The Senior Network Administrator will coordinate work activities for a small group of technical/professional employees, and manage a moderately large, complex function. The Senior Network Administrator will also provide technical guidance and leadership; and determine deliverable and work schedules as appropriate. They will also act as the Contractor’s representative to technical personnel while leading Contractor’s network requirements analysis activities, as well as Contractor’s maintenance and/or upgrades to the unit’s network operations. The Senior Network Administrator shall be responsible for ensuring Contractor meets established network deliverable deadlines and performance standards.



Requirements
  • Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility. 
  • At least six (6+) years of related experience (monitoring, managing and administering internet protocol (IP) networks in a production environment) with a B.S. degree in a related field to Computer Science (Information Systems Technology, Engineering), otherwise ten (10+) years of related experience.
  • Possess the willingness and desire to support Arista equipment and Netgear switches
  • Usage of comparable technologies to Watchguard (specifically not cloud based), Manage Engine, and CLI.
  • Experience with Networking, Cisco, Firewalls, and Cloud.
  • Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining physical and virtual networking devices, encryption (experience with Taclanes preferred), Firewall devices and rules, and networking Layer 2 and 3 devices and configurations.
  • Possess senior level, proactive, disciplined, leadership traits.
  • Expert in researching, evaluating, testing, recommending, integrating, deploying, and installing network equipment and solutions to meet objectives and requirements to include new technologies.
  • Experience conducting reverse engineering of networks, producing documentation, and the ability to explain results and potential areas of improvement and optimization.
  • Development of automated methods to deploy switches and firewalls with consistent results using applicable technologies for various manufacturer products.
  • Relevant industry certification, such as COMPTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), etc. 


Preferred: 

  • Experience with automation, optimization, designing work, including Tier 3 troubleshooting/support and documentation.
  • Implementation of network Quality of Service (QoS) policies.
  • Use of SMB protocols to allow advancement of storage technologies.
  • Configuring and validation of RDMA technologies.
  • Expertise with Cloud and/or Hybrid Cloud networking integration and sustainment.

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local market conditions, and candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. A reasonable salary range for this position is 100-160K.

Skills Required

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • At least six years of related network monitoring, management, and administration experience with a related bachelor's degree, or ten years of related experience without the degree
