A Senior NetSuite Developer/Admin is responsible for leading the design, customization, and implementation of advanced solutions within the NetSuite platform to meet the strategic business needs of the organization. This role involves developing complex workflows, scripts, reports, and integrations with third-party systems. Additionally, the role includes providing expert technical support, performing advanced system administration, and mentoring junior team members.
- Advanced Customization & Development: Lead the design and development of complex custom scripts (SuiteScript), workflows, and functionalities in NetSuite to meet evolving business requirements.
- Integration Leadership: Architect and build robust integrations between NetSuite and other business systems using RESTlets, SOAP, or third-party APIs.
- Strategic Configuration: Configure and customize NetSuite modules, including ERP and CRM, to align with company strategies and objectives.
- Data Management & Automation: Implement advanced automation and reporting for data quality, oversee data migration, import/export of data, and manage database operations within NetSuite.
- Expert Technical Support: Provide high-level support for NetSuite users, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve critical technical challenges.
- System Administration: Oversee user accounts, application security, and data access rights, monitor and optimize system performance and resource utilization.
- Testing & Documentation: Lead the testing of custom developments, document technical solutions, and ensure the proper implementation of custom features.
- Training & Mentorship: Collaborate with various departments (e.g., finance, operations), provide training, and mentor junior team members on using custom solutions effectively.
Proficiency in SuiteScript (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0) for advanced scripting and customization.
Extensive experience in NetSuite ERP including administration, configuration, and customization.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, and HTML for web-based development within NetSuite.
Experience with SuiteTalk (Web Services, SOAP, REST) for integrating external applications.
Strong understanding of NetSuite Workflows, forms, saved searches, and reports.
Experience with NetSuite SuiteBundler and deploying custom solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in NetSuite development or similar ERP platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NetSuite certifications (NetSuite Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer).
- Experience with third-party integration tools like Boomi, Celigo, or Dell Boomi.
