We are looking for a colleague to join our team in Kaunas office. We expect to meet at the office 3 days a week.
We are seeking a skilled .NET and React full-stack developer to enhance and maintain KAYAK’s industry-leading search and booking technology. Our platform integrates with over 200 travel partners and connects users to more than 3.5 million hotels and rentals, as well as 550 airlines.
Contribute to multiple mission-critical projects aimed at enhancing KAYAK’s affiliates, geographical data, translation, and feedback products.
Design and implement new services and workflows, deliver features from concept through to production-ready, quality-assured functionality.
Engage in direct collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Continuously improve the quality of existing codebases, modernize our code infrastructure, and adhere to best practice guidelines.
Experience in full-stack development with proficiency in .NET (5 years of professional experience) and familiarity with React. Experience with Java - is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Adaptability and capability of quickly learning new technologies and programming languages.
Abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility for both the short-term delivery and long-term sustainability of codebases and features.
Experience in working with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
Capability of devising clean and simple solutions to complex problems.
Hands-on experience writing high-quality unit and integration tests.
Openess to working with stakeholders across different geographies, including Boston, Berlin, and Sydney.
Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of industry-standard design patterns.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Elastic, MySQL.
Familiarity with RabbitMQ, GRPC, and REST.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes (K8s).
Proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
Understanding of deployment pipelines.
Experience with KPI-driven development.
AI-savvy, proactive in adopting and mastering emerging AI tools to enhance daily workflows.

Base part: 3333 EUR to 6600 EUR gross monthly.
Bonus part:
significant yearly bonuses, approx 10 percent annual salary;
Booking Holdings RSU (Restricted Stock Units) package, worth 20.000 USD (before taxes) with possibility to get it every year.
