.NET Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a .NET Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a .NET Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. With almost 100 million active users across 25 countries, they’re a global food tech company. As a recently formed team, they have many opportunities and ideas for sharing value back to the customers within their continuously expanding platform. They're looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

We are the partner ranking team. We mostly focus on algorithm development to rank partners on the home page. This is in carousels, the vertical list etc. We have a mix of .NET engineers ML Engineers, data science and analytics engineers within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Move carousel curation out of our team so that it can be managed and served by country teams
• Create a place in the API where we can algorithmically compare multiple different types of carousels
• Expand algorithm impact to more areas of content on the home page e.g. the pill filters.
• This person does not need ML or data skills. Mostly just engineering and architectural skills and an ability to negotiate and communicate with other engineers to help design and build these systems.

Requirements:

• Proficient in C# with a strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem
• A strong understanding of AWS
• Demonstrable experience of unit testing tools/frameworks (for example xUnit, NUnit, MSTest etc)
• Experience in building RESTful APIs
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems
• Able to work independently, taking responsibility for the technical delivery of key technical initiatives within a given workstream

Desirable:

• Knowledge of experimentation
• Event driven architecture.
• Previously worked with BigQuery and datasets.
• Familiarity with frontend development, preferably React
