Overview:
The client is looking for a Senior+ .NET developer who
combines hands-on delivery with an advisory component. The person codes in both
VB.NET and C#, designs and documents applications, and is accountable for the
quality and security of what they deliver. They also analyze client and partner
needs, recommend solutions with budget and deadlines in mind, and plan the work
to meet commitments. VB.NET, SOAP and WCF alongside RESTful APIs and Azure
DevOps point to an application landscape where legacy components and modern
delivery practices coexist. The 10-year threshold in a similar role sets the
bar above a mid-senior profile.
Target candidate: a .NET developer with at least 10 years of
practice, comfortable in VB.NET as much as C#, who has built and integrated
SOAP, WCF and REST services, and who delivers through CI/CD pipelines in Azure
DevOps within an Agile team. Their resume shows engagements where they analyzed
needs and recommended solutions while continuing to code.
