Senior .NET Developer (Microservices, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Test Automation)

Synechron is seeking a experienced Senior .NET Developer specialized in .NET technologies to join our dynamic development team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions critical to our business operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to system enhancements, promote best practices, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvements. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects while demonstrating technical leadership and driving excellence.

Required:

• Proficiency in C# with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core (MVC experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and GraphQL.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation via frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or similar.
• Version control familiarity, particularly with Git.
• Database experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, using tools like TeamCity or equivalent.
• Knowledge of build tools and scripting for automation.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, system enhancements, and best practice documentation.
• Implement features adhering to project specifications, following guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive test coverage for all deliverables.
• Support continuous delivery and integration efforts, ensuring reliable deployment cycles.
• Contribute to process improvements, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering skill development.
• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Databases/Data Management:

• Essential: SQL Server, Oracle
• Preferred: NoSQL database experience, e.g., MongoDB

Cloud Technologies:

• Preferred: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or Azure

Development Tools and Methodologies:

• Essential: Git, Jenkins or TeamCity, SonarQube, S Unit testing frameworks
• Preferred: Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)

Security Protocols:

• Basic understanding of application security best practices, authentication, and data protection.

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development with full-cycle project involvement.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications using .NET technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within Agile teams and supporting continuous integration/delivery processes.
• Industry experience in financial services, trading, or similarly complex domains is a plus.

• Develop, review, and optimize application code to meet quality and performance standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth development and deployment.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for application issues, ensuring system reliability.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, deployments, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
• Stay updated on the latest technological trends and incorporate relevant innovations.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer) are a plus.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework/Core, APIs, and cloud deployment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
