CSCI Consulting is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer to support a large‑scale Federal modernization program. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain complex MuleSoft integration solutions that connect enterprise systems and ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing data flows. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, implement integration patterns, create API specifications, and support automated CI/CD pipelines. The developer will also lead code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices across the integration landscape. A SAFe certification is required or must be obtained within the first 60 days of onboarding.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain complex MuleSoft integration solutions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs
- Ensure MuleSoft applications meet security, scalability, and performance standards
- Create API specifications and implement API‑led connectivity designs
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation to ensure integration reliability
- Lead code reviews and enforce development best practices
- Support automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven and GitLab
- Contribute integration artifacts and reusable components to internal organizational initiatives
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks; obtain SAFe certification within 60 days if not already certified
- 6+ years of hands‑on MuleSoft development and/or architecture experience
- Secret Clearance
- MuleSoft Certified Developer
- Working knowledge of MuleSoft Private Cloud Edition (PCE)
- Experience using the SAP Connector
- Experience with high‑availability, fault‑tolerance, performance testing, and tuning across multiple engagements
- Experience creating automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven and GitLab
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presence
- Experience supporting enterprise integration initiatives in Federal environments
- Familiarity with SAP integration patterns and enterprise data flows
- Relevant MuleSoft or integration‑focused certifications
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
- Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
- Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
- Past experience working with a Federal government agency
- Department of War experience is a plus!
