Our team is growing and as we’re re-building our core financial platform we’re looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join us.
Here are a few of the things you will do:
- Take full ownership of mobile development projects, from design to deployment, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features and updates.
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, reliable, and efficient build and release processes
- Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor and support other developers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues while maintaining code quality and best practices.
- Continuously learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve our mobile stack.
Here is what we’re looking for in a candidate:
- 3+ years of experience developing with React Native or 4+ years experience with developing React
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern mobile development tools and libraries.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Excellent ownership skills — you take responsibility for your work and follow through from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A passion for learning new technologies and improving your skills.
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines - advantage.
