We are looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. This is an amazing opportunity to work on IP products. The team consists of 13 people and is reporting to the Director, Data Engineering. We have a great skill set in Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in ML, Python/R and DevOps Principles.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

+2 years of experience in MLOps.

Proficiency in Python or R, with advanced knowledge of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and libraries.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and MLOps-related tools and technologies.

Familiarity with DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, monitoring, and logging.

+2 years of experience working within the Python ML ecosystem.
It would be great if you also have . . .

Successful delivery of at least one project in an MLOps role to production

Advanced understanding of modern workflow engines and data-driven systems architecture.

Practical expertise in data engineering, data pipeline design, and implementation using the Apache Spark ecosystem.

Proven ability to deliver projects to production in an MLOps role and integrate ML models into complex systems.
What will you be doing in this role?

System Development & Management: Develop and manage reliable production systems, construct and manage deployment, build, and configuration management systems, and enhance system performance, accessibility, and capacity.

Integration & Collaboration: Integrate solutions with external applications, consult on Cloud-based applications, and collaborate with teams for streamlined code deployment and tool optimization.

Code & Script Optimization: Conduct extensive code reviews, update scripts for evolving requirements, and enhance coding practices and repository management.

Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Build and administer monitoring and alerting systems, resolve production-related issues, and support production tools and data security.

CI/CD & Automation: Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, model registries, and improve automation in data science workflows.
About the Team
The team comprises 13 globally distributed members, including Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, dedicated to supporting Intellectual Property products at Clarivate.
Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time permanent role, in Barcelona – Spain (40 working hours per week)
Hybrid working model, 2-3 days per week from our Office, near Sagrada Familia, central region in the city.
