Senior ML Research Engineer

We are seeking a Senior ML Research Engineer to design and refine cutting-edge AI systems for next-generation robotics. You will build robust onboard and offboard AI foundations, driving innovation in machine learning pipelines and real-time robotics applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop experimental ML pipelines for robotics solutions, focusing on onboard and offboard AI stacks.
• Implement and evaluate advanced robotics and ML research, adapting techniques to solve emerging challenges.
• Optimize inference speed of large models for real-time robotics applications.
• Build and maintain scalable, end-to-end differentiable evaluation systems.
• Collaborate with robotics, hardware, and product teams for seamless AI model integration.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in multimodal models, modern ML architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models), and reinforcement learning.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Must be on-site with no remote work option.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in designing high-quality ML experimentation and data pipelines.
• Expertise in object pose estimation, bimanual manipulation, and synthetic data.
• Familiarity with edge compute architectures and ML software engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
