Job Summary

The Senior Middleware Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the third-party platforms and middleware technologies that underpin Mortgage Cadence applications and services. This role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, security, and availability of middleware environments while providing advanced troubleshooting, system maintenance, patch management, and operational support across both Windows and Linux platforms.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing enterprise middleware technologies, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across multiple infrastructure components in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and support enterprise middleware platforms and third-party applications.
  • Manage and optimize Redis, RabbitMQ, Citrix XenApp, Apache Tomcat, and Azure Service Bus environments.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across middleware and infrastructure components.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability, implementing proactive improvements where appropriate.
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates to middleware platforms while minimizing downtime.
  • Analyze application and system logs to diagnose production issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers supporting middleware environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
  • Participate in incident response, maintenance activities, and production support as required.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience administering enterprise middleware platforms and third-party applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) patching.
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Experience administering WordPress or managing LAMP environments.
  • IIS Administration.
  • Elastic Stack administration, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Experience with JSCAPE or other Secure File Transfer (SFTP) platforms.
