As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Developer at Other World Computing, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating custom solutions within the Dynamics 365 F&O platform Our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O) Developer is a problem solver, who plays a critical role in the success of OWC.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to ensure that our Dynamics 365 F&O system is optimized to meet our business requirements.

What Will You be Doing?
- Solutions: Engage in collaborative efforts with business stakeholders to accurately gather and document requirements. Focus on designing, developing, and implementing customizations, extensions, and integrations within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform. This approach ensures that the delivered solutions are optimally aligned with business objectives and contribute tangible value.
- Integrations: Focus on developing and maintaining integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and various external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. This approach includes customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 F&O components such as entities, forms, views, workflows, and reports to align effectively with specific business processes and objectives.
- Development: Adhere to best practices in the entire software development process, focusing on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in X++ and other relevant programming languages and tools. Emphasize code clarity, simplicity, and performance optimization, while engaging in peer review and continuous refinement of methodologies.
- Quality Assurance and Documentation: Initiate rigorous unit testing and actively contribute to system testing to guarantee the quality and reliability of customizations and integrations. Concurrently, take responsibility for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, which encompasses design specifications, development standards, and detailed change logs, ensuring clarity and consistency in development processes.
- Support and Maintenance: Offer consistent and reliable support for Dynamics 365 F&O, swiftly identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. Engage proactively in maintenance activities, ensuring system stability and optimal performance, while focusing on enhancing user satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution.
What You Bring with You?
- Strong proficiency in X++ and C#.NET
- Well-versed in Azure DevOps, adept at leveraging its comprehensive toolset for source control, project tracking, CI/CD, and release management throughout the software development lifecycle
- Experience with customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 F&O
- Knowledge of integration techniques and tools (e.g., Data Entities, Data Integrator, Logic Apps)
- Familiarity with SQL Server and database concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative team player, with a strong commitment to contributing positively to team dynamics and fostering a cooperative work environment
- Possesses working knowledge of Azure LCS, demonstrating proficiency in implementing and managing cloud solutions, and leveraging Azure's suite of tools for efficient application lifecycle management
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O development (preferred)
- Power Platform expreience is a plus and Dataverse experience is a plus
Compensation Structure for the Position
The compensation package for this role includes a base salary of 115-150K annually which is determined based on your experience and skills.
