Job Description

 We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and the Power Platform. This role involves leading the management, configuration, and support of M365 environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning and Leadership

- Develop and implement strategic plans for M365 services to align with business goals.

- Lead and mentor a team of M365 administrators and support staff.

- Provide expert guidance on best practices and emerging trends in M365 technologies.

Advanced Administration and Support

- Oversee the administration and support of M365 services, including complex user account management, license optimization, and advanced troubleshooting.

- Manage escalations and provide tier-3 support for critical incidents.

Configuration and Deployment

- Design and deploy advanced M365 configurations and custom solutions to meet complex business requirements.

- Lead large-scale migrations and deployments of M365 services.

Security and Compliance

- Develop and enforce security policies, compliance settings, and data protection measures.

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaboration Tools Enhancement

- Drive the adoption and enhancement of collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

- Implement advanced features and integrations to improve productivity and collaboration.

Integration and Automation

- Integrate M365 services with other enterprise applications and systems.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other tools to streamline operations.

Monitoring and Reporting

-Implement advanced monitoring solutions to track system performance and user activity.

-Generate detailed reports and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Incident and Problem Management

-Lead the incident and problem management processes for M365 services.

-Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree is preferred.

Skills

  • Deep expertise in M365 administration, configuration, and security.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and data protection regulations.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Professional Qualifications

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are required.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 services, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.

Other requirements

  • Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory and related services.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
