Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our organization in Minya, Egypt. In this role, you will lead the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for complex building projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet all regulatory standards and project requirements.
- Design and develop comprehensive MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing components using industry-standard software and tools
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on design methodologies and best practices
- Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs to ensure seamless integration and optimal building performance
- Conduct detailed analysis of building systems, energy modeling, and code compliance to meet local and international standards
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawings while managing project timelines, budgets, and collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve design conflicts
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in MEP design and building systems engineering
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP-specific design software
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems design principles, building codes, and international standards
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven project management experience with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across disciplines
Skills Required
