Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components.
  • Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and reliability.

  1. Supplier Management & Negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Negotiate favorable terms on cost, lead times, and service levels.

  1. Market & Risk Analysis
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks in the electronic broker industry.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions in supply.
  • Analyze commodity pricing, global demand, and geopolitical factors affecting supply chains.

  1. Inventory & Demand Planning
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to align supply with business demand.
  • Optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.

  1. Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all electronic components meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to prevent defective or counterfeit components.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental and ethical sourcing regulations.

  1. Cost Optimization & Budgeting
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Leverage bulk purchasing, strategic partnerships, and alternative sourcing to optimize costs.

Qualification and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, commodity management, or supply chain in the electronics industry.
  • Deep understanding of the electronic components market and brokerage industry.
  • Familiarity with key suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors in the industry.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and counterfeit prevention.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and risks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
