We are looking for a senior media data specialist for our Edelman DXI Hub. This team already hosts multiple other specialties, such as production and design, and we wish to expand with DXI capabilities, comprising global research, analytics, performance and data consultancy.
This role is ideal for a professional with 6-9 years of similar experience, looking to be further exposed to media and social monitoring and analysis, in a fast-paced and highly international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Project Coordination and Supervision of Junior Analysts
- Participate in the briefing session with the account team, and support the Hub Lead in preparing the project planning (roles & responsibilities, timeline with key milestones, etc.)
- Brief & supervise the junior analysts, conduct check ins and ensure deadlines are met
- Collect data from multiple media sources (amongst social media platforms, television, radio, print, digital advertising channels, etc.)
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in projects
- Create basic and complex search queries / taxonomies, using Boolean language
- Set up and maintain an efficient alerting system, based on the account teams’ project needs (taxonomies, frequency, respondents, etc.)
- Analyze media performance metrics, such as visibility, reach, engagement, conversions, or ROI
- Carry out thorough and pertinent data analysis on audience behavior, content preferences, and market trends specific to Americas
- Produce clear and actionable research reports (daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly reports) using visual storytelling
- Create and maintain live dashboards in media monitoring tools hosted by preferred partners
- Tailor reports to meet regional needs, considering language and cultural nuances

Profile and Experience
- 6-9 years of work experience in a comparable environment, similar experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- High level of organizational and time management skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding North American business culture
- Knowledge of PR / communications, and marketing
- Ability to work closely with international stakeholders and adapt to the demands of a global organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enjoys working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
- English fluency C1 or B2+
