Design and model complex aerospace parts (lofted geometry) in NX/SolidWorks, perform and interpret FEA, design manufacturing/repair tooling, reverse-engineer parts with Faro/Keyence/Verisurf, support AS9100/ISO9001 quality activities, update work instructions, aid program managers as project engineer, and contribute technical content for proposals.

Requirements
- Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering or science discipline, from an ABET accredited program required
- Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 Standard Practices for Engineering Drawings
- 3D printing of prototype parts
- Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $100,000 - 110,000
This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering/science from an ABET accredited program
- 5+ years of professional experience in relevant mechanical/aerospace engineering tasks
- Model complex, lofted aerospace parts in NX
- Experience with SolidWorks
