As part of our WWAN Engineering organization, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to help us continue our rapid growth and our enviable track record of creating devices that "just work." You will work with a small, growing team of talented and experienced hardware engineers developing state-of-the-art Enterprise Router products that include Cellular, Wi-Fi, GNSS, and Bluetooth radios requiring multiple antennas coexistent in single housing.

What You Will Do
- Own mechanical design and development for Enterprise Router products, including enclosures, structural parts, assemblies, and packaging.
- Lead mechanical design reviews and provide clear technical guidance to internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Drive thermal, structural, shock, vibration, and environmental design requirements in collaboration with thermal and system teams.
- Review and approve tooling design, CMF (Color, Material and Finish), packaging, and production readiness (PVT).
- Work closely with cross functional teams across Electrical, RF, Thermal, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver robust, scalable, and cost-effective mechanical solutions.
- Support Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) and cost-reduction initiatives
- Partner with sourcing and manufacturing teams to onboard and validate new or alternate manufacturers
- Support technical discussions and issue resolution with suppliers and ODM/JDM partners.
- Contribute to product specification updates and ensure alignment with system requirements.
- Provide support during bring-up, validation, and field issue investigation when required.
- This role is hands-on and requires strong ownership across the full product lifecycle-from early concept and design through qualification, mass production, and sustaining support.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Strong experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo/SolidWorks/NX) and production-ready mechanical design.
- Solid understanding of:
- Injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and machining
- Tooling, tolerances, and manufacturability
- Thermal and environmental design for electronic hardware
- Experience designing enclosures and assemblies for high-reliability products
- Hands-on experience supporting prototype builds, validation, and production ramp (EVT/DVT/PVT)
- Experience with mechanical testing (thermal, shock, vibration, environmental) and failure analysis support
- Familiarity with materials selection, finishes, and cosmetic requirements for commercial products
- Experience working with global manufacturing partners, suppliers, and ODM/JDMs
- Experience collaborating closely with electrical, RF, thermal, test, quality, and manufacturing teams
- Ability to work independently with clear ownership and accountability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across global teams
- Working knowledge of engineering documentation, and change control processes
- Ability to travel internationally occasionally
