You will operate within a matrix organization, in close coordination with System Engineering, the Product Design Manager, the Design Authority, and other engineering and business functions.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation, and provide technical input to stakeholders.
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations (FEA / CFD), and tolerance analyses to support design decisions.
  • Drive design‑for‑manufacturing (DFM) and design‑for‑assembly (DFA) solutions.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.

  • Contribute to workshops, technical meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who You Are:

You are action‑oriented, comfortable working in a changing environment, and able to take ownership of complex engineering tasks. You collaborate effectively with others and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design and product development/testing within an industrial environment.
  • Strong background in mechanical design, structural analysis, and design‑for‑manufacturing.

  • Proficiency with PTC Creo and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience applying DFM, FMEA, DoE, SPC, RCA, and risk analysis methods.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams within a matrix organization.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; French is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in industrial valves, preferably triple‑offset valves / isolation valves.
  • Experience with laboratory testing, verification, and validation.
  • Knowledge of standards and codes applicable to metallic and non‑metallic valves.
  • Exposure to systems engineering frameworks (ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, INCOSE).
  • Experience with Six Sigma / DFSS or similar quality methodologies.
