Your future Team:
Your will be joining an Embedded Team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. You  will be responsible for Front End Engineering Design (FEED) activities across a range of engineering projects which will form part of the submarine’s new build and development programmes.
You will be required to attend site in Derby 2-3 days per week.
Your Missions:

Qualifications
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
🏭 Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the nuclear sector
🛠️ Understanding of mechanical design, safety case, operation, (eg precision, cleanliness requirements, damage prevention) and LfE capture
📜 Previous experience with Technical Document Authoring, Substantiation and Presenting
📝 Understanding of Nuclear Health & Safety I.e Understanding of safety case requirements (Safety Functional Requirements, Engineering Schedules and criticality prevention)
🏭 Previous exposure to Chemical Plant, Glovebox’s and associated processes would be an advantage along with an understanding of Welding, NDT techniques
🗄️ Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcentre or similar)
📊 Knowledge of engineering analysis tools (MathCAD, ANSYS, ABAQUS or similar)
🎓BEng or similar professional qualification in an engineering related field
