Job Description
Candidates must demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas for large projects: HVAC flow, Process flow, Rotating equipment, Piping and Instrumentation diagrams, System descriptions, Mechanical equipment lists, Mechanical equipment sizing, Material handling design, Fire protection design, Sizing calculations, and Vendor document reviews.
Knowledge of one or more of the following ASRAE, ARI, NFPA, SMACN, and ASME National Codes and Standards.
Experience with 2D MicroStation Computer-Aided Drafting and Design and experience in the DOE complex preferred. Candidate must be able to perform field walk-downs as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in the nuclear or
commercial industry.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
