About the Position
We are seeking a motivated talent with FMCG business experience to join our Master Data Digital Transformation journey as part of the multi-year Goldilocks project.
In this role, you will manage the continuous improvement of our Data Classification across Product and Customer Hierarchies, along with Data Process Pathways e.g. PowerApp / SAP MDG. You will be looking for ways to simplify processes for the business in the Keystone SAP (EMEA) area - working closely with identified partners in the business, to understand their pain points and bring solutions via our IT colleagues. On the Data Analytics side, you will identify ways to improve the quality of Data and its presentation to business users. You will also work with owners of other data sources to augment our dashboards - and engage business owners. Finally, you will support the team to deliver the Year End Hierarchy Change process in Keystone - to ensure all
The Senior Master Data Analyst will be responsible for quality, mapping and governance implementation of Master Data objects in Product and Customers - chiefly Classifications and Hierarchies - and will ensure these align with Source Hierarchies.
Responsibilities (Duties that must be performed on a regular basis):
- Receive and/or Obtain from the Business Attribute/Classification values for GFIN relating to Product and Customer Hierarchies (Commercial Hierarchies)
- Manage Business Glossary and Business Rules variances (Business as Usual)
- Resolve with stakeholders of primary Attributes to ensure continuously improved Master Data (e.g. Agile PLM)
- Compile matters arising for the Data Governance Council - i.e. Notifications of new Attribute Values and/or requests for new Hierarchy Nodes for approval. Use Dashboard reporting style to simplify message and drive clear actions
- Manage an effective communications tool to inform a relevant (and owned) business network of changes and or identified issues with GFIN Commercial Hierarchies
- We have several short-term challenges, which require professional, insightful working to ensure the issues are resolved:
- Categorisation of MODs appropriately
- Price Group and Case Config - AFH and also "Case" catch-all - aligned to RGM
- Product Classification values optimisation
- Including Flavor, Style and Health Claim
- Ensure all promotional SKUs flagged
- Power Platform workflows (Virtual product) management (4)
- UAT PowerPlatform Ship To
- Classifications via MDG - automation (logic has been defined)
- Daily management of GCC team to understand status of actions and provide answers to queries re SKUs etc.
- Proactive management of issues log and clear, simple reporting
Short-term experience / profile requirement:
- Understanding of KH products, Catalyst / North America products preferred
- Ability to make confident decisions on products
- Network of business resources on whom they can call to clarify quickly if any doubt / exception
- Excel proficiency (mid-advanced)
- Good organisation
- Strong communication - keeping stakeholders updated on progress and rapid availability
Mid term
- Management of effective input capture and central overview data files
- Proactive management of product data quality - organising regular reviews as required
- Governance of new Data Objects, and Values
- Errors / issues log tracker and business network leverage to solve
Experience
- Proactive, self-starter - driving agenda and opportunities for improvement
- Simplification in comms and actions necessary to take to solve issues
- Excel advanced level, to drive reporting
- Experience of Data Governance and systems related to DG
- Has proven Networks in KH - knows who to speak to
- Working knowledge of products, and how these fit together with supply elements
- Understanding of data rules by functional areas
- Confidence around Stakeholders, ability to simplify - Brevity
