The Markets Operations COO Business Execution role is responsible for a range of different activities including financial management, resource administration, location strategy execution and third-party management. This role involves being part of a diverse, global team to successfully support and facilitate a global, complex Operations organisation.
Responsibilities
- Financial management of expense lines including permanent and non-permanent employees, travel and expense, relocation and software.
- Complete, timely and accurate financial reporting to respective stakeholders and related query management.
- Hiring and resource administration alongside appropriate controls and a robust audit trail.
- Analysis and monitoring of Operations transaction costing.
- Location strategy execution and governance of associated administration, regulation and risk management.
- Governance of third-party usage and location footprint with respect to the location strategy and Continuity of Business requirements.
- Produce executive-grade reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies driven by location choices, leveraging automation, AI, and new technologies.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience into Business Execution and understanding of Markets / Capital markets Products.
- Impactful written and verbal communicator to stakeholders across a range of functions and seniority.
- Independently produce executive-grade reporting and presentation material.
- Experience in global strategy execution or large-scale operational transformation projects.
- Experience in financial management and reporting for a global organization.
- Strong, influential communicator able to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders and team members of varying seniority.
- Analytical, energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive – an individual who can positively and productively add impact with a strong risk and control mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
