The Sr. Marketing Specialist reports to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for developing and executing a range of Kytopen’s marketing efforts for lead generation to drive sales of the Flowfect Tx™ platform and its future product portfolio. This key team member will be responsible for conference / tradeshow management, creating impactful marketing campaigns, overseeing creative design, supporting the development and maintenance of marketing collateral and sales and marketing enablement tools, maintaining the Kytopen website, and supporting Business Development, Key Opinion Leaders, and investor events.

Key Result Areas: 

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Key Opinion Leaders to identify and design marketing programs. 

  • Plan and execute digital marketing strategies including email, social media marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, website, and manage the effectiveness of each to increase conversion. 

  • Own lead generation and awareness activities to support sales, distributors, and business development teams. 

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Application Scientists to generate and maintain marketing collateral and sales tools in various forms (brochures, sales presentations, videos, etc.) for deployment across multiple channels (print, presentations, web, social media, etc.). 

  • Organize and manage sponsorships, conferences, and tradeshow presence. 

  • Own management of Kytopen’s CRM. Ensure that new leads are processed. 

  • Lead Kytopen’s brand awareness and brand management activities including rigorous implementation of brand guidelines.

  • Utilize analytical tools to measure and report the performance of all marketing activities. 

  • Develop and manage third party vendor relationships and production of creative content to drive overall brand and product strategies. 

  • Manage projects to time and budget. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, life sciences, or equivalent experience. 

  • Related marketing experience (1-4 years), life science marketing is preferred. 

  • High-energy, motivated, and flexible individual who can work well in a dynamic cross-functional environment. 

  • Experience with event management (organization and execution of events).

  • Demonstrated experience with digital marketing channels (social media, webinars, website, etc.) and tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, WordPress marketing automation, etc.) preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Intermediate design capabilities (CANVA and Adobe Creative Suite). 

  • Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics a plus. 

  • Collaborates easily and effectively with an ability to influence without direct authority 

  • Exceptional communication, organization, analytical, digital, project management, and planning. 

  • Ability to review analytics and make decisions from data. 

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Desire to work in a small, early-stage company setting with an ability to lead and execute multifaceted tasks in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
