The Senior Marketing Research Analyst will be a key resource in helping Distinguished make decisions on pursuing growth initiatives, as well as understanding the performance and allocation of a variety of marketing assets. The research will be both qualitative and quantitative, gathering and analyzing both internal/external data and information. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research a variety of growth opportunities as to their viability, potential return, competitive position, market size.
  • Analyze how different marketing assets and methods are performing and how to improve them, as well as their allocation withing various channels.
  • Develop and implement attribution models to measure effectiveness of marketing and growth initiatives.
  • Participate in projects to understand the feasibility of creating marketing automation, linking data from multiple systems to drive growth (HubSpot, Salesforce, broker portal, IMS policy admin system and more).
  • Investigation into cross-sell data to come up with hypothesis, supporting data and market tests.
  • Creation and execution of qualitative and quantitative broker, competitor, and market surveys.
  • Create reports, presentations, and action items based on collected data.
  • Analyze data from numerous sources to identify market trends and broker/consumer insights.
  • Conduct in-depth market research on a variety of growth initiatives.
  • Review and interpret large data or information sets and organize them into understandable presentations, spreadsheets, charts, or relevant facts.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, consumer and product research, and industry best practices.
  • Analyze the performance of broker and customer acquisition and retention programs, across multiple channels, including but not limited to digital (search, social, email, display/video advertising), online and offline partnerships, and sales.
  • Develop data-driven insights to assist innovation and strategic decision making.
  • Present findings and insights to business stakeholders.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Research Analyst with a focus on B2B attribution and revenue reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance or financial services.
  • Undergraduate degree, marketing preferred.
  • Skilled in Excel, comfortable working with data and systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Knowledgeable with search engines and web analytics.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new concepts.
  • Familiarity with attribution modeling concepts and models.
  • Confident in basic math and statistics.
  • Ability to explain and communicate complex ideas and information in an understandable and easy to follow manner.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Great capacity to understand and relay complex data across industries.
  • Superb ability to multitask while paying attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

LOCATION

  • Remote - NYC area, Seattle, or Atlanta preferred


COMPENSATION AND PERKS

  • $80,000 - $110,000 base salary plus bonus. Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
  • Summer Fridays (Leave at 2:00PM all Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day).
