The Senior Marketing Project Specialist will support the Marketing team by managing the day-to-day execution of production-based projects and requests across print, digital, and in-store marketing channels. Working closely with the Marketing Project Managers and creative team, this role ensures that project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables are tracked and executed accurately. Responsibilities include processing incoming project requests, maintaining accurate project records in project management tools, coordinating production timelines, and facilitating clear communication between creative and cross-functional teams to keep work moving efficiently.

You’ll Be Successful With

  • 2-3 years of experience coordinating or supporting projects within a marketing, agency, or in-house creative environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Workfront, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet; hands-on experience with at least one is required 
  • Comfortability working within digital workflows and marketing tools
  • Strong attention to detail, methodical, organized, and process-oriented
  • Clear and professional communication with the ability to follow up, flag issues, and escalate appropriately
  • Adaptability to change in a fast-paced work environment

Your Day Consists Of

  • Processing and triaging incoming project requests, ensuring all required information and assets are present before routing them to the creative team for kick-off
  • Building and maintaining project schedules and timelines in Workfront, keeping tasks, due dates, and statuses up to date throughout the production lifecycle
  • Monitoring active projects daily, flagging tasks at risk of missing deadlines, and escalating schedule conflicts to the Senior Marketing Project Manager for resolution
  • Supporting the routing and trafficking of creative assets, proofing requests, and production deliverables across print, digital, and in-store channels
  • Participating in internal status meetings, taking notes, tracking action items, and following up on outstanding tasks to keep projects on schedule
  • Communicating project status clearly and consistently to team members and immediate stakeholders, ensuring deadlines, specifications, and next steps are well understood
  • Reviewing creative deliverables against project briefs and specifications to confirm all production requirements have been met prior to handoff or distribution

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse

PHYSICAL/SENSORY   REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10- 20pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of thetime, butmay involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Skills Required
