What You'll Do
Do you love data and how data can inspire and drive change? Epic Games is looking for a Marketing Performance Manager. In this role, you will turn millions of rows of data into actionable insights, build scalable reporting, and help the Paid Media team activate and optimize their campaigns to engage users across our different products.
In this role, you will
- Extract data from multiple data sources and systems, combining them into cleaned datasets for analytics, modeling, and insight generation
- Conduct hypothesis testing and design complex experiments to help the paid media team understand the value of their ad buys and how to improve performance
- Apply statistical methods such as linear and non-linear regression multivariate analysis to interpret results
- Help define and build easily digestible core reporting suites that are used to diagnose and optimize campaign performance across all paid media partners
- Write code and logic in a way that enables efficient and accurate translation into a data pipeline and ETL processing
- Intake business questions as an analytics problem and devise a concrete set of analytical tasks to answer those questions
- Articulate decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies, and frameworks to both technical and non-technical partners
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of analytics experience is required
- 3+ years using advanced SQL is required
- Paid media analytics experience, including in-platform reporting, data aggregation, and cumulative ROI studies (Marketing analytics and marketing science strongly preferred)
- Mathematics, Science, Statistics, or Technical degree preferred; otherwise, relevant experience is applicable
- Python, Scala or, R, or any other primary ML language a plus
- Flair for business acumen, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
- First-hand experience with experimentation setup and measurement
- Ability to translate data into easy-to-understand written and verbal communication
- Team player who actively listens, collaborates, and can work with multiple verticles and competencies
This role is open to multiple locations across North America and Europe (including CA & NYC).
Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
New York City Base Pay Range
$155,012—$227,350 USD
California Base Pay Range
$136,410—$200,068 USD
