Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate in the  development of marketing strategies and lead in the execution of those downstream marketing strategies, drive commercial growth, customer engagement, and market leadership across the United States. This role partners closely with commercial leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful initiatives that strengthen customer relationships, support procedural adoption, and advance key business priorities.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategically minded healthcare marketer with strong experience in physician engagement, customer segmentation, and US commercial execution, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and balances strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Market Development

  • Drive and execute US commercial marketing strategies in partnership with the Senior Marketing Director to accelerate growth, customer engagement, and procedural adoption.
  • Partner closely with commercial leadership to translate customer needs and market opportunities into targeted initiatives that drive engagement and procedural adoption.
  • Support annual business planning, commercialization, and successful launch execution for new products, indications and technologies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure aligned, disciplined execution that advances key business priorities.

Help shape customer targeting, segmentation, and engagement strategies to support commercial growth.

Marketing Execution & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and execute comprehensive US marketing strategies and tactical plans aligned with corporate objectives and commercial growth targets.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and growth priorities.
  • Lead initiatives that drive increased customer engagement, procedural adoption, and referral generation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, Market Access, Product Management, and Training to ensure alignment and effective execution of key commercial initiatives.
  • Support development and execution of launch strategies for new products, indications, technologies, and commercial programs.

Assist in development of annual business plans, strategic priorities, and forecasting activities.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Gather customer insights, monitor competitive activity, and analyze market dynamics to support commercial strategy, messaging, and future product development.

Marketing Programs & Campaign Execution

  • Lead development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and educational programs.
  • Oversee development and updating of marketing collateral, digital content, sales tools, messaging platforms, presentations, and customer-facing resources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Support planning and execution of major industry congresses, symposiums, workshops, and customer events.
  • Partner with physician education and training teams to support peer-to-peer educational initiatives and customer development programs.

Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with regulatory, legal, and company approval processes.

Business Operations & Leadership

  • Monitor and assess marketing performance using data, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding program performance, market trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Manage multiple initiative with strong prioritization and project management discipline.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and support junior team members as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of healthcare marketing experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated success in downstream/commercial marketing roles within a highly regulated healthcare environment.
  • Experience supporting interventional specialties, oncology, radiology, or other physician-driven procedural markets preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare market, customer landscape, and commercial dynamics.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical and technical concepts into compelling customer value propositions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • Experience managing agency partners, vendors, and cross-functional project teams preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25–35%, including conferences, customer visits, and internal meetings.

Training Requirements

  • Complete all required company onboarding and compliance training.
  • Complete product and clinical training programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in additional training and development programs as required.

The target base salary range for this position will range from $148,000 to $187,000 annually. Individual compensation for this job requisition will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including your geographic location, skills, experience, education and other factors as they relate to the position requirements.  Actual compensation may vary depending on the confirmed job-related skills and experience.

In addition to the expected base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in Sirtex’s incentive programs (target bonus of 15% for this position) and benefit plans, which include paid sick and vacation time, health insurance and a generous 401k matching program.
