About Grubtech:
Grubtech is transforming how F&B operators run their businesses in the age of delivery-centric dining, cloud kitchens, and virtual brands. Our platform powers the full end-to-end restaurant tech stack: from demand generation and aggregator integrations to kitchen operations and last-mile delivery. With a mission to delight our customers, empower our teams, and deliver growth for our partners, we are scaling fast across global markets.
Our Mission & Vision
- Mission: To delight our F&B partners with transformative technology, their customers with best-in-class service, our employees with a passion project worth working for, and our investors with growth and profitability.
- Vision: To be the most comprehensive and hyper-connected F&B platform worldwide.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead Grubtech’s marketing function globally — with a particular focus on building our European presence across Iberia and beyond. Based in Portugal (preferred) or Spain, you will own the full marketing operation: brand, content, demand generation, website, collateral, events, and partnership marketing across all regions.
You will manage a lean, established team — a Marketing Manager (Cairo, covering the Middle East), a Social Media Manager, and a Graphic Designer — and be responsible for elevating Grubtech’s brand authority, generating qualified pipeline, and establishing us as the definitive platform in the
markets we operate in.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set the strategy and execute alongside your team, not from the sidelines. We are looking for someone with a strong B2B SaaS marketing background — this is not a B2C role. The ideal candidate understands long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder buying committees, and how to build trust with enterprise operators.
Critically, this role requires an AI-native marketer. We don’t mean someone who has “experimented with ChatGPT.” We mean someone who has fundamentally rewired how they work using AI. You should already be running AI agents and copilots as part of your daily workflow — using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Cowork for strategy, content, and analysis; generating
presentations with AI; creating visual assets with MidJourney, DALL-E, or Flux; producing video content with Runway, Sora, or Kling; building automated lead generation pipelines with Clay and AI enrichment; and orchestrating multi-agent workflows that let a small team produce at the scale of a department three times its size. If AI isn’t already your unfair advantage, this isn’t the right role.
You will report directly to the CEO and operate with a high degree of autonomy. This role requires entrepreneurial spirit, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to punch above your weight across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
AI-Powered Marketing Operations
- Operate as an AI-native marketer: use AI agents, copilots, and automation tools as your default way of working — not as an add-on, but as the foundation of how you plan, create, and execute.
- Build and run AI-powered content pipelines: use Claude/Cowork and similar tools for drafting blog posts, case studies, email sequences, ad copy, and sales collateral at speed and quality.
- Generate visual assets using text-to-image tools (MidJourney, DALL-E, Flux, Ideogram) for social media, ads, presentations, and collateral — reducing dependency on external design resources.
- Create and edit video content using text-to-video and AI video tools (Runway, Sora, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia) for product demos, customer testimonials, social clips, and event recaps.
- Build AI-powered presentations using tools like Gamma, Beautiful.ai, or Claude-generated decks for sales enablement, investor updates, and partner pitches.
- Deploy AI-driven lead generation workflows using Clay, Apollo, or similar platforms — automating prospect research, enrichment, and personalized outreach at scale.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools, staying on the cutting edge of what’s possible in AI-augmented marketing.
- Train and upskill the marketing team on AI tools and workflows, raising the AI fluency of the entire function.
Brand Authority & Thought Leadership
- Build Grubtech’s brand authority through customer case studies, product reviews, testimonials, G2/Capterra profiles, and success stories that resonate with B2B buyers.
- Own and evolve Grubtech’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all customer-facing touchpoints globally.
- Position Grubtech and its leadership as thought leaders in restaurant technology through content, speaking engagements, and industry visibility.
- Craft compelling narratives tailored to European, GCC, and emerging market buyer personas.
Website, Landing Pages & Collateral
- Own the Grubtech website end-to-end: messaging, landing pages, SEO, conversion optimization, and ongoing content updates.
- Develop and maintain sales collateral — one-pagers, pitch decks, battle cards, product sheets — that enable the commercial team to close.
- Create and manage all marketing copy across channels: email campaigns, ad copy, scripts, blog posts, and case studies.
- Use AI tools to rapidly iterate on landing page copy, run multivariate tests, and optimize conversion funnels.
Demand Generation & Performance Marketing
- Design and optimize inbound and outbound campaigns across digital platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.).
- Define and refine ICPs and buyer personas for each region, aligning campaigns to their pain points and buying journeys.
- Own pipeline contribution targets and work closely with Sales to ensure marketing-sourced leads convert.
- Use AI for rapid A/B testing, audience segmentation, creative iteration, and campaign performance optimization.
European Market Development
- Build Grubtech’s marketing presence in Iberia (Portugal, Spain) and position us for expansion across wider Europe.
- Develop locally relevant campaigns, content, and events that resonate with European F&B operators.
- Bring European market professionalism and standards to Grubtech’s global marketing output.
Events & Partnerships
- Plan and execute events — from major F&B and SaaS conferences to intimate customer workshops and partner roundtables.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners (aggregators, POS providers, delivery platforms) on joint campaigns and co-marketing.
- Manage event logistics, content recaps, and post-event pipeline follow-ups — using AI tools to accelerate turnaround on recap content and follow-up sequences.
Social Media & Community
- Oversee organic and paid social strategies across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and region-specific platforms.
- Use AI-powered scheduling, copywriting, and analytics tools to optimize posting cadence, engagement, and audience growth.
Team Management
- Manage and mentor the marketing team: Marketing Manager (Middle East), Social Media Manager, and Graphic Designer.
- Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers as needed, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
- Raise the AI fluency of the entire team — establish AI-first workflows and ensure every team member is leveraging AI tools in their daily work.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience. This is non-negotiable — we need someone
who understands enterprise sales cycles, account-based approaches, and pipeline-driven
marketing. - Demonstrably AI-native: you must show evidence of using AI tools as a core part of your
marketing workflow — not as experiments, but as daily operating tools. We will ask you to
walk us through your AI stack and show real outputs. - Hands-on experience with AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), AI image generation
(MidJourney, DALL-E, Flux), AI video (Runway, Sora, Kling, HeyGen), and AI-powered lead
gen platforms (Clay, Apollo). - Experience building or running AI-powered automation workflows for content production,
lead generation, or campaign execution. - Proven experience building brand authority in B2B — case studies, customer evidence
programs, review platforms (G2, Capterra), and thought leadership. - Strong ownership of website and digital presence — messaging, landing pages, SEO, and
conversion optimization. - Hands-on experience with performance marketing (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) and
demand generation best practices. - Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (written and spoken).
- Experience managing a small team with the ability to develop junior talent.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in ambiguity, operates autonomously, and builds from
scratch. - Based in Portugal (preferred) or Spain, or willing to relocate
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in F&B technology, restaurant tech, or hospitality SaaS.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Power BI, or other marketing automation/analytics tools.
- Experience working in a Series A–C SaaS company.
- Experience with Claude Co-work, multi-agent workflows, or AI orchestration platforms.
- Arabic language skills.
