Walker Sands is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Brand and Campaigns to join our Chicago team. 

This role will be responsible for developing and leading brand-focused, high-impact marketing campaigns that elevate the company’s visibility and reputation. This role requires a strategic visionary with expertise in brand positioning, campaign management, and integrated marketing strategies. The successful candidate will oversee the campaign calendar, content development, and brand initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach across all touchpoints to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Development & Management:
    • Contribute to the development and lead execution of a holistic brand strategy to strengthen brand positioning and differentiation across all marketing channels.
    • Champion the Walker Sands brand identity, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all marketing materials and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create brand assets that reinforce the brand’s unique value proposition and resonate with target audiences.
    • Oversee brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals and that they effectively convey brand stories to drive awareness and affinity.
    • Manage award submissions, planning, and execution to bolster brand recognition within the industry.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution
    • Own the comprehensive campaign calendar, coordinating the execution of brand-driven campaigns, product promotions, industry-specific initiatives, and content distribution.
    • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across channels (email, digital, PR, social, and events) that drive brand engagement and support business objectives.
    • Collaborate with creative, PR, social media, and paid teams to ensure campaign assets and messaging are on-brand and resonate with target audiences.
    • Measure and optimize the effectiveness of campaigns to ensure alignment with key brand metrics such as awareness, perception, and customer engagement.
  • Content Management:
    • Manage the creation of brand-aligned content, including thought leadership, sales enablement, and employer branding, ensuring it supports overarching campaign goals.
    • Oversee the editorial content calendar to ensure timely production and distribution of content across channels.
    • Provide editorial oversight for all content on the Walker Sands website, ensuring brand consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
  • Social Media & Community Engagement:
    • Oversee and provide strategic direction for social media programs, ensuring platforms reflect the brand’s voice and foster engagement with target audiences.
  • Event Management:
    • Lead the planning and execution of brand-focused virtual and in-person events, ensuring seamless integration with overall brand strategy and campaigns.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide additional support as needed, including adding content to the CMS, sales enablement tasks, and drafting company-wide emails.

Experience

  • 4-5 years in a fast-paced marketing setting, preferable in the B2B and/or technology space.
  • Experience executing branding and campaign strategies, with some level of exposure to aspects of digital marketing a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand a company's business goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Experience managing junior team members is a plus.
